Our founder Mr Satish Kumar Sharma had at the time moved from Delhi to Mumbai post his education to seek better opportunities.

In 1973, the founder of Spark Electricals, Mr. Satish Kumar Sharma, went to Dubai to see the possible business opportunities there while running a well-established business in Mumbai in the name of SYSTEMS ENGINEERING.

In 1974, Mr. Satish Kumar Sharma formed a company named Bin Saugat Trading, which was among the first few electrical companies during this period.  Bin Saugat trading company was re-named Spark Electrical Trading Installation and Maintenance company

Later in the year 1977, this company was re-named Spark Electrical Trading Installation and Maintenance company.

By the year 1980, Spark Electrical became one of the major suppliers for most of the development projects across the Emirate, which included MEP contracting and installation projects and we started participating in many global exhibitions, showcasing many brands and products.

By 1985, Spark Electrical was hosting many giant brands like Philips, Marshal Tufflex, MEM, Doorman Smith, MK, Volex, Fonitech (As an agent, distributor, and stockist). Spark Electricals was also the leading supplier of electrical and telecommunication goods to retail outlets like supermarkets, departmental stores, retail traders, etc. At the time Mr. Satish travelled extensively in order to procure products from many world class brands

1992 : Mr Satish Sharma at that time had achieved new heights of success and was considered a prominent businessman .

In 1995, Ms. Priyanka Sharma (eldest daughter of Mr. Satish Sharma) became the acting managing director of Spark Electricals. By this time, Spark Electricals became part of the mega projects like Emirates Towers, Burj Al Arab, and Deira City Center.

In 1998, Ms. Shweta Sharma (2nd daughter of Mr. Satish Sharma) took over the reign of the company.

Later in 2001, Mr. Amit Kumar Sharma joined as the managing director of the company and made Spark Electricals reach new heights.

In the year 2003, Spark Electricals became one of the major electrical suppliers to firms engaged in Building massive communities across the Emirates like Downtown Dubai Development, Zabeel Saray Hotel, Yas Marina Development.

In 2007, Spark Electricals decided to venture into Facility Management and soon became the leading electrical supplier for all the large and medium-sized Facility Management Companies. During this period, Spark Electricals was also engaged in distributorship of World Class Brands such as Ariston Water Heaters, Osram, Vortice and ecolux, etc.

In 2012, Spark Electricals decided on venturing to other emirates and opened a branch in Musaffah Abu Dhabi (Capital of the United Arab Emirates) and later established a centralized logistic center in the heart of Al Qouz.

In 2019, Spark Electricals extended its product range and included air conditioning, plumbing, sanitary, hardware, and building materials for the Facility Management Industries.

At present, Mr. Amit Sharma, the Managing Director and Partner of Spark Electrical, has diversified its business into the field of interior designing with Luxe Interiors LLC and installation and maintenance supplies with Urban Fix tech Services LLC.
